The Total Amendment Amount is $20,000 to be Funded Entirely Through County Boating Improvement Funds ("BIF"). . Should you have any questions please feel free to contact me at (305) 292-3550. cc: County Attorney Finance File KEY WEST MARATHON PLANTATION KEY 500 Whitehead Street 3117 Overseas Highway 88770 Overseas Highway Key West, Florida 33040 Marathon, Florida 33050 Plantation Key, Florida 33070 RD 3AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT BETWEEN GEOSYNTEC CONSULTANTS, INC. dba APPLIED TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT AND MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA THIS AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT is made and entered into this 18th day of February 2026 between MONROE COUNTY BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS ("COUNTY") and GEOSYNTEC CONSULTANTS, INC. dba APPLIED TECHNOLOGY AND MANAGEMENT ("CONSULT ANT"). WITNESSETH: WHEREAS, on June 21, 2023, the parties entered into a Contract for consulting services for mooring field design and permitting services in Monroe County; and WHEREAS, on October 16, 2024, the parties entered into Amendment 1 revising said Contract to include additional design and environmental permitting of a shoreside seawall and/or rock revetment and dock in connection with the Boca Chica Mooring Field; and WHEREAS, on March 25, 2025, the parties entered into Amendment 2, revising said Contract to provide for a 2-year extension of the existing Contract; and WHEREAS, the undersigned parties desire to enter into Amendment 3 revising said Contract; and WHEREAS, amendment of said Contract is deemed in the best interest of the health, safety, and welfare of the citizens of Monroe County and the general public; NOW, THEREFORE, IN CONSIDERATION of the mutual covenants contained herein the parties agree to as follows: 1. Section 5.2 of the June 21, 2023 agreement is hereby amended to read: FROM: Compensation. The maximum compensation available to CONSULTANT under this Agreement is based on the tasks detailed in the Scope of Services. The COUNTY agrees to pay CONSULTANT based on completion of work within the Scope of Services according to the deliverables detailed in the Scope of Services. Compensation shall be paid by specific assignment/engagement completed which both falls under authorized Task 1 through Task 4 on Exhibit “A” and Task 1 through Task 9 on Exhibit “B” and is/are deemed satisfactory by the Contract Manager. Any additional services included in Task 1 through Task 9 on Exhibit “A” and Task 1 through Task 4 on Exhibit “B” must be authorized by the Board of County Commissioners. The total not-to-exceed cost for providing the services contained in Task 1 through Task 9 on Exhibit “A” is $277,000.00 and Task 1 through Task 4 on Exhibit “B” is $219,000.00. TO: Compensation. The maximum compensation available to CONSULTANT under this Agreement is based on the tasks detailed in the Scope of Services. The COUNTY agrees to pay CONSULTANT based on completion of work within the Scope of Services according to the deliverables detailed in the Scope of Services.
