A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN
ESCROW AGREEMENT BETWEEN MONROE COUNTY AND THE FLORIDA
DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION (D.E.P.) COMMITTING
TO DEPOSIT INTO AN ESCROW ACCOUNT A SUM OF MONIES TO BE
DETERMINED BY AN ENGINEER AND APPROVED BY D.E.Poo FOR THE
SOLE PURPOSE OF LANDFILL CLOSURE AND LONG-TERM CARE OF
LANDFILLS IN THE COUNTY.
WHEREAS, the Florida Administrative Code, Section 62-701.630(2) and (5), Monroe County is
required to establish an interest-bearing escrow account and to deposit therein sufficient monies

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY,
FLORIDA that
Section 1.
The Mayor of Monroe County, Clerk of the Circuit Court, Director of Finance,
and the Director of the Solid Waste Management Division are hereby authorized to execute the
escrow agreement document required by D.E.P.
