C7 Approval of a Task Order with Kisinger Campo & Associates, Corp., for Engineering
Design and Permitting Services in the total not to exceed amount of $365,648.70 for the
Caribbean Drive Bridge #904250 Repairs Project. This project is partially funded by a Small
County Outreach Program (SCOP) grant agreement with the Florida Department of
Transportation (FDOT). The Engineering Design and Permitting Services are funded at
$266,194.00 with FDOT State Funds with a local match of $99,454.70 funded with County
funds.
C9 Approval of Amendment 2 to the Agreement with CW3 Engineering, Inc. for
engineering design and permitting services for the Key Deer Boulevard (North of Watson Blvd.)
Roadway Project to extend original contract expiration to 60 days after completion of
construction for post design services at no additional cost.

AMENDMENT 2 TO THE CONTRACT FOR ENGINEERING DESIGN AND PERMITTING SERVICES
BETWEEN MONROE COUNTY BOCC AND CW3 ENGINEERING, INC.FOR THE
KEY DEER BOULEVARD (NORTH OF WATSON BLVD.) ROADWAY PROJECT
THIS AMENDMENT 2 to the CONTRACT is entered into this 11th day of March 2026, between Monroe County,
whose address is 1100 Simonton Street, Room 2-216 Key West, Florida 33040, hereafter the "COUNTY" and CW3
Engineering, Inc. whose address is 5783 Bayshore Road, Suite 113, N. Fort Myers, FL 33917, hereafter referred to as
"CONSULTANT".
WHEREAS, on the 17th day of July 2024, the parties executed a contract authorizing the CONSULTANT to
perform Professional Services for the Engineering Design and Permitting Services for the Key Deer Boulevard (North of
Watson BLVD.) Roadway Project, for an estimated not to exceed amount of $862,539.38; and
WHEREAS, on the 16th day of October 2024, the parties executed Amendment 1 in order to amend the
CONSULTANT’s compensation from an hourly wage rate to not to exceed lump sum amount of $862,539.38; and
WHERAS, in order to allow for FDOT plan reviews, final design completion, and post design services, the COUNTY
seeks to amend the Agreement to include updated Representation and Warranties section of the contract to provide
additional time for these services to be performed:
NOW THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual promises contained herein, the COUNTY and CONSULTANT
agree to amend Article I, Representation and Warranties, Section 1.1.8 of the contract as follows:
1.1.8 The Consultant shall complete the scope of services no later than 60 days after final completion of construction for
the design of Key Deer Boulevard (North of Watson BLVD) Roadway Project.
This AMENDMENT is effective March 11th, 2026.
In all other respects, the Contract approved July 17, 2024, as amended by Amendment , remains in full force and
effect.
