Current Employment: Broker/Owner Michael Mayer Realty Employment History: see attached izations/Members attached Affiliations Brief Summary as to your qualifications to serve on this committee: During my tenure at DAC V for (almost) three years, I learned a lot of very interesting facts on organizations in need of support, to attract more business. Whether it was help with advertising or PR or help with material support for adding, repairing, building, etc. I also found that working with the new friends at DAC V showed me that the variety of professionals with various backgrounds reflects the mix of devoted individuals we have in the Florida Keys. The move from external contractors to in-house workforce, which happened more recently, also impressed me with the reliability, creativity and support of the great people, who run the show now. The vast variety of tools, being used by Visit Florida Keys and the Monroe County Tourist Development Council, with the Five District Advisory Committees is absolutely essential to to bring and keep visitors, investors and workforce to our chain of Islands. The need for this organization has been challenged and will be challenged again. The collection of TDC funds to lower property taxes, or purchase and build "affordable workforce housing" might not have the effect the TDC was established for. I ti,,uly enjoyed my time with the TDC and I do hope that I will be invited to serve another term. Signature: Application to be received no later than p.m. March 27, 2026.
