AGENDA ITEM WORDING: Approval to advertise a public hearing for a budget amendment to
the Tourist Development, All Districts, Two Cent Fund 115 for Fiscal Year 2026. The budget
amendment will provide $400,000 in funding for the America 250 Celebration.
ITEM BACKGROUND: The purpose of the proposed budget amendment is to bring forward
accrued unappropriated fund balance so that it may be made available for use in the current fiscal
year. These Tourist Development Tax funds will used for the America 250 celebration.
