Land Authority Advisory Committee.
ITEM BACKGROUND: Mr. Lorenz is being appointed to replace Sandi Williams to the Land
Authority Advisory Committee. He is a resident of Tavernier, Key Largo and in accordance with
Section 2-400(a)(5)of Monroe County Code, serves as the representative of a not-for-profit corporation
or association dedicated to the acquisition of land for conservation and preservation purposes. He is
retired from his position as Director of Research from the Audubon of Florida, but continues to support
and work with the organization. The term of the proposed appointment is three years.
