Detailed description of change order and justification:
This is the final closeout change order for this project and is reconciling the quantities of work
actually performed and measured in the field. This change order modifies the contract quantities as
noted in the attached to reflect the actual of work performed by the Contractor.
The reconciliation of the contract quantities results in an increase to the contract amount. It was
required to remove additional trees that were identified by the land surveyor to be penetrations to
the FAA's protected airspace surfaces. The original bid documents were developed using aerial
survey data. Once the originally scheduled trees were removed it was then possible to utilize
traditional land base survey equipment to confirm if all of tree penetrations were removed.
Additional trees were identified by the land surveyor and they were ultimately removed.
This change Order is 4.9% of the original contract price.
