MAYOR'S PROCLAMATION
DECLARING JUNE 2026 AS
AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE PROFESSIONALS MONTH
WHEREAS, automotive service professionals play a vital role in maintaining the safety,
reliability, and efficiency of vehicles and equipment essential to public service; and
WHEREAS, the Monroe County Fleet Management Department ensures that county
vehicles and equipment are properly maintained and ready to support public safety,
emergency response, and daily operations; and
WHEREAS, the skilled technicians and staff of Fleet Management demonstrate
professionalism, expertise, and dedication in keeping the County's fleet operating
effectively; and
WHEREAS, their work directly supports the delivery of critical services to the residents
and visitors throughout Monroe County;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT PROCLAIMED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that June 2026 is hereby
designated as
AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE PROFESSIONALS MONTH
in Monroe County, Florida, and residents are encouraged to recognize the important
contributions of automotive service professions, especially those within the Monroe
County Fleet Management Department.
