ITEM BACKGROUND: Surplus units and equipment were approved to be removed from inventory at the October 15 and November 12, 2025 BOCC meetings AIS M2 2023-4678 and 03 2023-4790. The Notice of Request for Competitive Solicitations was advertised in local newspapers, The Key West Citizen on 3/14/26, Keys Weekly on 3/19/2026 and News Barometer on 3/20/26. The bid tabulation spreadsheet noting the bids for each surplus item is attached and sets forth the highest bidder for each surplus unit and equipment to be awarded. If the highest bidder fails to complete the purchase transaction after reasonable notification of the award and time limits in which to respond, then authorization to award to the next highest bidder(s) until final disposition of the surplus units and equipment is complete in accordance with Monroe County Purchasing Department guidelines.
