Roby to the Advisory Board of the Duck Key Security District for a full 3-year term through June 10, 2029. ITEM BACKGROUND: Mark Roby has lived on Duck Key since moving to the Keys in December 2013. He currently is serving as the Interim Executive Director for the Monroe County Health Department. Previously he served as the Senior Community Health Nursing Director for the Health Deparment snce January 2023. He also served as the Dean of Nursing at the College of the Florida Keys from July 2026 to 2023. He also served as the Director of Allied Health and Nursing, and an Associate Professor at the college. This seat has been vacant since March 25, 2025. PREVIOUS RELEVANT BOCC ACTION: The BOCC appointed Laurie Keiling to the seat in July 19, 2023. I had jury duty in March (and I was selected as a juror) during the last meeting, and I'm flying out of Miami on the same day as the next meeting in May.
