AGENDA ITEM WORDING:
Approval to reject all bids submitted for the Countywide Chiller Maintenance and Service-Multiple
Locations RFP and to later re-advertise the project based on a refined scope of work.
ITEM BACKGROUND:
The County is in the solicitation process to identify a supplier to provide chiller maintenance and
service for County chillers. This request is to reject all the bids and to later re-advertise the project
based on a refined scope of work.
The Department of Facilities Management issued an RFP (Request for Proposals) for this requirement,
and the bids were opened on June 17, 2026 at 3:OOPM. Facilities Management wishes to refine the
scope of work to reduce costs.

BOCC approved the FY26 budget that contained these services.

This Memo shall serve as notice to Reject all Bids for RFP-633 - Countywide Chiller
Maintenance and Service-Multiple Locations and to later re-advertise the project based on
a refined scope of work.
The County is in need of a supplier of services to perform maintenance and servicing on
countywide chillers.
Facilities Management issued an RFP (Request for Proposals) for this requirement, and
the bids were opened on June 17, 2026, at 3:OOPM. Facilities Management wishes to
refine the scope of work to reduce costs and will be issuing another RFP for the services.
