Approval to extend the 2026 Tax Roll and email the bills prior to completion of the Value Adjustment
Board Hearings.
ITEM BACKGROUND:
Under F.S. 197.323, upon request by the Tax Collector, the Board may by majority vote, order the roll
to be extended prior to completion of the value adjustment board hearings. Tax Collector Sam Steele
requested this extension by an email dated June 3, 2026. The Board routinely considers and grants
similar requests every year.

I would like to request Mr. Steele be put on the Board of County Commissioner's Agenda meeting on July 15t", 2026,for
the Approval to extend the 2026 Tax Roll and mail the bills before completing the Value Adjustment Board Hearings. He
does not need to attend the meeting; we just need the item to be on the agenda for approval.
