AGENDA ITEM WORDING: Approval to authorize the County Administrator to sign the
application for Federal Assistance between Monroe County, the applicant, and the Federal
Transit Administration to purchase two transportation buses. The submitted grant application
will be included on the February Agenda for BOCC's review and ratification. Grant submission
deadline requires this action.
ITEM BACKGROUND: This application, if approved by the Federal transit Administration,
would purchase two transportation buses with funding coming from the Federal funds for
$91,536.00, state funds, $11,442.00 and county match of $11,442.00. These vehicles would replace
two existing aging buses in the transportation fleet.
