RESOLUTION No381 -1996
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA. IN RECOGNITION OF THE LATE
FREDERICK C. MANNILLO.
WHEREAS, Mr. Frederick C. "Freddie" Mannillo, a well-loved resident of the Florida Keys, has
passed away unexpectedly at the age of 47: and
WHEREAS, Mr. Mannillo was an avid fisherman and longtime environmental activist. and over
the years, played a major role in working with local, state and federal government officials toward
the preservation of natural resources in the Keys: and
WHEREAS, Mr. Mannillo was a charter member of the Key Deer Protection Alliance as well as
an active member of the Big Pine Civic Association and former president of the Tropical Bay Property
Owners Association: and
WHEREAS, Mr. Mannillo will be remembered as a man of integrity, a conscientious and hard-
working member of the Florida Keys community: NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA
Section 1.
The Board hereby adopts this Resolution as evidence of its regret and
mourning for the passing of the late Frederick C. Mannillo and in recognition of his extensive
dedication and vast public service to the people of and Monroe County, Florida.
Section 2.
The Board hereby requests the Clerk to forward copies of this Resolution to Mr.
Mannillo's parents, Fred and Grace Mannillo of Big Pine Key, to express the Board's sorrow. -....
