A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE FINAL MILLAGE RATES FOR FISCAL YEAR 1997
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners, Monroe County, Florida, pursuant to the provisions of
Chapters 129 and 200, Florida Statues, did conduct a Public Hearing on September 19, 1996 at 5:05 p.m. at
Marathon Government Center, 2798 Overseas Hwy., Marathon, Monroe County, Florida, to amend and
adopt a Final Millage Rate for each district for Fiscal Year 1997, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, MONROE COUNTY,
FLORIDA, that the following Millage Rates be adopted as the Final Millage Rates for Fiscal Year 1997,
and is hereby adopted as follows:
General Revenue Fund
Fine & Forfeiture Fund
Health Clinic
Mariners Hospital District
General Purpose MSTU
Municipal Service Taxing District #5
Municipal Service Taxing District #6
Municipal Service Taxing District #7
Municipal Service Waste District
Translator
Upper Keys Health Care Taxing District

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the aggregate millage rate be adopted as the
Final Aggregate Millage Rate as 7.2926 for Fiscal Year 1997 which is 2.37 % above the rolled-back
millage rate.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, at a
meeting of said Board held on the 19th day of September, AD 1996.
