Key Colony Beach
A Special Meeting/Budget Workshop of the Monroe
County Board of County Commissioners convened at 9:00 a.m.
on the above date at the Key Colony Beach City Hall in Key
Colony Beach. Present and answering to roll call were
commissioner William Freeman, Commissioner Michael Puto,
Commissioner John Stormont, and Mayor Eugene Lytton. Absent
from the meeting was Commissioner Jerry Hernandez, Jr. Also
present were Danny L. Kolhage, Clerk; Tom Brown, County
Administrator; Michael Managan, Assistant County
Administrator - Management Services; Stacey Williams, Office
of Fiscal Management.
Mayor Lytton advised that Commissioner Hernandez
was present at the South Florida Regional Planning Council
meeting being held today in Key West.
Mayor Lytton discussed the scheduled Budget
sessions and recommended that the sessions be rescheduled
to July 20th, July 21st and July 22nd in order to give the
Commission more time to analyze the Budget information.
Motion was made by Commissioner Freeman and seconded by
Mayor Lytton to cancel the meetings previously scheduled for
July 11th, July 12th and July 13th and to reschedule the
Special Meetings/Budget Workshops for July 20th, July 21st
and July 22nd at Key Colony Beacch City Hall at 9:00 a.m.
Motion carried unanimously.
The Board then proceeded to a general discussion of
matters to be considered at the Special Meetings/Budget
Workshops.
There being no further business, the meeting was
adjourned.
