A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA,
TRANSMITTING A PROPOSED FUTURE LAND USE MAP
AMENDMENT REQUESTED BY JAVIER BOSIQUE AND
PAUL BATES TO THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF
COMMUNITY AFFAIRS FOR REVIEW AND COMME~T
THAT CHANGES THE FUTURE LAND USE DESIGNATION.:
FOR PROPERTY LEGALLY DESCRIBED AS A PORTION
OF LOT 7 OF MACDONALD'S PLAT, SECTION 23;
TOWNSHIP 63 SOUTH, RANGE 37 EAST, TALLAHASSEE
MERIDIAN, WINDLEY KEY, MILE MARKER 84.9, MONROe
COUNTY, FLORIDA, FROM RESIDENTIAL LOW (RL) TO
MIXED USE COMMERCIAL (MU/C).

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners held a public hearing
for the purposes of considering the transmittal to the Florida Department of
Community Affairs for review and comment of a proposed amendment to the
Future Land Use Map, changing the future land use designation of the property
described as a portion of lot 7 of Macdonald's Plat, Section 23, Township 63
South, Range 37 East, Tallahassee Meridian, Windley Key, Real Estate
Identification Number 00094000, at Mile Marker 84.9, Monroe County, Florida,
from Residential Low (RL) to Mixed Use/Commercial (MU/C); and
WHEREAS, the Monroe County Planning Commission, sitting as the local
planning agency, after due notice and public participation in the public hearing
process, has recommended approval of the proposed Future Land Use
amendment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, THAT:
Section 1. The Board of County Commissioners does herby adopt the
recommendations of the Planning Commission pursuant to the draft ordinance
for adoption of the proposed Future Land Use Map amendment; and
Section 2. The Board of County Commissioners does hereby transmit
the proposed amendment to the Florida Department of Community Affairs for
review and comment in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 163.3184,
Florida Statutes (FS); and

Section 3. The Monroe County staff is given authority to prepare and
submit the required transmittal letter and supporting documents for the proposed
amendment in accordance with the requirements of 9J-11.006 of the Florida
Administrative Code; and
Section 4. The Clerk of the Board is hereby directed to forward a
certified copy of this Resolution to the Florida Department of Community Affairs.

of Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of the Board held on thel~h day
