Ordinance 014-1993 lam Contractors Examining Board ORDINANCE NO. 014 -1993 AN ORDINANCE PROVIDING FOR THE ADDITION OF SUBSECTION (F) TO SECTION 6-57 , MONROE COUNTY CODE, PERTAINING TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF CONTRACTORS ' ADVERTISEMENTS ; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR REPEAL OF ALL ORDINANCES INCONSISTENT HEREWITH; PROVIDING FOR INCORPORATION INTO THE MONROE COUNTY CODE ; AND PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE. -n LD z y m BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COlvgittIONS QF CD MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: cam, NJ Section 1 . Subsection 6-57 (f) is hereby added-"to read As - •0 Ty Q1 follows : (f) Anyone who publishes or produces any advertisement for which this section requires inclusion of a permanent certificate of competency number shall not publish or produce any advertisement which omits such permanent certificate of competency number. Anyone who violates this subsection shall be guilty of a violation of the ordinances of Monroe County and be subject to the penalties which may be imposed pursuant to the code enforcement ordinances of Monroe County. Section 2 . If any section, subsection, sentence, clause or provision of this Ordinance is held invalid, the remainder of this Ordinance shall not be affected by such invalidity. Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with this Ordinance are hereby repealed to the extent of said conflict. Section 4. The provisions of this Ordinance shall be included and incorporated in the Code of Ordinances of the County of Monroe, Florida, as an addition or amendment thereto, and .. N f r. shall be appropriately renumbered to conform to the uniform numbering system of the Code. Section 5. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon receipt of official notice from the Office of the Secretary of State of the State of Florida that this Ordinance has been filed with said Office.
