11/17/1982 Special V 065 Special Meeting Board of County Commissioners Tuesday, November 17, 1982 10:00 A.M., Key West - A special meeting of the Board of County Commissioners convened on the above date. The meeting was called by the Chairman for the purpse of ratifying a lease for office space for the Public Defender1s Office located at 500 Duval Street, Key West, Florida. Present and answering to roll call were Commissioner Alison Fahrer, Commissioner Wilhelmina Harvey, Commissioner Ed Swift and Chairman Jerry Hernandez, Jr. Also present were Ralph W. White, Clerk; Lucien Proby, County Attorney; Kermit Lewin, County Administrator; members of the Press and Radio; and general public. The Board discussed agreement with David W. Wolkowsky for a period of an additional four (4) years for office space for the Public Defender at 500 Duval Street. 34 After further discussion a motion was made by Commissioner 92 Hernandez and seconded by Commissioner Swift to postpone this item until November 22, 1982 at 10:00 A.M. Motion carried unanimously. - Motion was made by Commissioner Swift and seconded by Commissioner Harvey to authorize amending Resolution No. 287-1982 approved at the November 16, 1982 meeting which directs the Supervisor of Elections to prepare for a 99 Referendum Election setting up a Special Road District in 46 Cross Key Waterways Subdivision pursuant to Florida Statutes 130 to be held on January 11, 1982 instead of January 4, 1982 as previously approved. Motion carried unanimously. There being no further business the meeting was adjourned. * * * * * * * * * * --
