02/07/1981 Special V 1.68 Special Meeting Board of County Commissioners Saturday, February 7, 1981 9:00 A.M., Key West A special meeting of the Board of County Commissioners convened on the above date. Purpose of the meeting called by the Chairman was to " meet with the Hon. Bob Graham, Governor of the State of Florida. Present and answering to roll call were Commissioner Curt Blair, Commissioner Wilhelmina Harvey, Commissioner Ken Sorensen and Chairman George Dolezal. Commissioner Jerry Hernandez, Jr. was absent. Also present were Danny L. Kolhage, Deputy Clerk, Michael Cates, County Attorney, Kermit Lewin, Count Administrator, members of the Press and Radio and interested citizens. Governor Graham made opening remarks. The Commission discussed their views of problems facing Monroe County. Governor Graham indicated ta te Agenl egislatiol isasters that a general meeting with State and Local Officials concerning the County Disaster Plan would be held and that his office would closely the results of these meetings. He indicated that he and his staff would provide every assistance to Monroe County to solve this important issue. There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned. * * * *
