WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, desires
to renounce and disclaim any right of the County and the public in and to the
hereinafter described streets, alley-ways, roads or highways, and
WHEREAS, under Chapter 336, Florida Statutes, it is necessary to hold a public
hearing after publishing due notice of said hearing in accordance with said Chapter,
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Board will hold a public hearing on July 18, 1995, at 10:00
a.m., at the Holiday Inn Beachside, 3841 North Roosevelt Boulevard, Key West, Florida,
to determine whether or not the Board will renounce and disclaim any right of the
County and the public in and to the following described streets, alley-ways, roads or
highways as delineated on the hereinafter described map or plat, to-wit:
A strip of land 20.00 feet in width, being portions of the "Alley," as shown
on the Plat of "Key Colony Subdivision No.1," according to the plat
thereof, as recorded in Plat Book 3, Page 1 07 of the Public Records of
Monroe County, Florida, and being more particularly described as
follows:
That portion of the 20.00 foot wide strip of land depicted as the "Alley"
lying between Lots A and B, bounded on the North by the Easterly
extension of the North line of said Lot B and bounded on the South by the
North line of Lot N, as shown on the said Plat of "Key Colony Subdivision
No.1."
Together with:
That portion of the 20.00 foot wide strip of land depicted as the "Alley"
lying between Lots J through N, inclusive and Lots B through E, inclusive,
and bounded on the West by the Southerly extension of the West line of
Lot E, bounded on the East by the West line of said Lot A. as shown on
said Plat of "Key Colony Subdivision No.1."
All sidelines of the aforementioned description are to be lengthened or
shortened to form one continuous strip of land.
Said parcel contains 5920 square feet, more or less.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe
County, Florida, at a regular meeting of the Board held on the 21st day of June,
1995.
