09/18/1985 SpecialDD 189 1 1 Special Meeting Board of County Commissioners Wednesday, September 18, 1985 Key Colony Beach BOARD, OF APPEALS The Board of Country Commissioners sat as the Board of Appeals. Present were Mayor Pro-Tem Alison Fahrer, Commissioner John Stormont, and Commissioner Ed Swift. Absent from the meeting was Mayor'Wilhelmina Harvey, and Commissioner Freeman. Also present were Danny L. Kolhage, Clerk; Kermit Lewin, Charles Pattison, Director of Building, Planning & Zoning; County Administrator; Lucien Proby, County Attorney; County staff; members of the Press and Radio; and the general public. Commissioner Freeman and Mayor Harvey arrived at 9:15 with the meeting already in progress. Mayor Harvey assumed the Chair. Mr. Fred Tittle, attorney representing Katrina Boyd, addressed the Board concerning hi,s client appeal. After a brief discussion, a motion was made by Commissioner Stormont and seconded by Commissioner Freeman approving the following Resolution granting the appeal and overturning the decision of the Board of Adjustments with the modification granting a 10 foot set -back on the north side of the pro- perty and a 20 foot set -back on the south side. Roll call vote on the motion was unapimous. RESOLUTION NO. 264-1985 See Res. Book No. 46 which'is incorporated herein by reference. Mayor Harvey discussed the visit of the Captain of the Nuclear Submarine U.S.S. Key West and his visit to Key West, on September 21, 1985. The Mayor advised that there would be a luncheon in his honor at the Casa Marina at 12:30 on September 21, 1985. A motion was made by Commissioner Swift and seconded by Commissioner Freeman authorizing the payment of expenditures of, the luncheon at the Casa Marina in honor of the Captain of, the U.S.S. Key West out of the Boards $5,000.00 advertising account. Motion was carried unanimously. ' There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned. F1
