A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA,
IN RECOGNITION OF THE LATE MARY L. SPARE

WHEREAS, Mary L. Spare, a long time resident of the Upper Kefs, 119s pdsied
away at the age of 71; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Spare served the Safety Harbor Property Ow~rs Assoc18tion

under four presidents; and

WHEREAS, Ms. Spare also served on the Altar Guild at Sf. James the Fisherman

Episcopal Church; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Spare volunteered at the Helen Wadley Branch of the Monroe
County Public Library and was a member of Friends of the Library; and
WHEREAS, Ms. Spare's warm, friendly outreach was her hallmark as well as her
special gift of bringing people together for a common cause; and
WHEREAS, County Commissioner Keith L. Douglass has requested that the Board
of County Commissioners recognize the late Mary L. Spare for her service and
dedication to the community; NOW THEREFORE
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, that:
Section 1.
The Board, at the request of Commissioner Keith L. Douglass,
hereby adopts this resolution as evidence of its regret and mourning for the passing of
the late Mary L. Spare and in recognition of her dedication and service to the people
of Safety Harbor, Monroe County, Florida.
Section 2.
Commissioner Keith L. Douglass is requested to forward copies of
this resolution to relatives of Mary L. Spare, to express their sorrow.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe
County, Florida, at a regular meeting of the Board held on the ---11.P '/day of
