Resolution 501-1995 RESOLUTION NO. 501 -1995 z ~ .." c ~ r- :z ~ rT1 '" z Cl ...-",C"') _.. ~ '"-1~_ - , 'n - C) :, r::' r--- J, ;C c: Z.-- ::v _. ::J::t rT1 .~ \0 G 0 {,j ::0 \..oJ ':J Planning Department A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE ADMINISTRATIVE BOUNDARY INTERPRETATION OF THE INTERIM PLANNING DIRECTOR IN LAND USE DISTRICT MAP BOUNDARY INTERPRETATIONNUMBER 100, BLOCK 1, LOT 10 HOLIDAY HOMESITES SUBDIVISION, KEY LARGO, MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, APPROXIMATELY MILE MARKER 100. WHEREAS, the "pattison" Maps are the official Land Use District Maps of Monroe County and are prepared at a scale of 1" = 600'; and WHEREAS, the property described as Lot 10, Block 1, Holiday Homesites, Key Largo, Monroe County, Florida, is zoned SC on the official land use maps of Monroe County; and WHEREAS, the Land Use District Maps utilized by the Planning Department for daily business are the "Craig" Maps and are prepared at a scale of 1" = 400'; and WHEREAS, the "Craig" Land Use district map has no boundary line on the east side of Lot 10 and therefore, an exact determination of the zoning of Lot 10 can not be made based on the Craig maps; and WHEREAS, the current Land Use district maps do not follow the previously demarcated boundaries on the official land use district maps; and WHEREAS, the staff recommends approval of the boundary determi- nation which finds that Block 1, Lot 10, Holiday Homesites is in the Suburban Commercial land use district, as indicated in the Staff Recommendation by Antonia Gerli, Interim Planning Director, dated December 5, 1995; and NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA THAT: 1) The findings of facts and conclusions of law of the Interim Planning Director, dated December 5, 1995, which found that the boundary change in the Land Use District Map Boundary Interpreta- tion Number 100 was in conformance with the standards set forth in Section 9.5-3(m) of the Monroe County Code are hereby approved and adopted as our own findings of facts and conclusions of law; and that 2) We specifically find that the above described property should have been designated as Suburban Commercial (SC); and that 3) The Clerk of the Board is hereby directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to the Monroe County Planning Department. 4) The Clerk of the Board is hereby directed to forward a certified copy of this resolution to the Florida Department of Community Affairs. 2 I ,.
