A RESOLUTI0~ .SETTING THE DATE, TIME AND PLACE
FOR A~~BLIC UEAaING CONCERNING THE PROPOSED
ABANDONMENT OF A.PORTION OF AN ALLEY IN BLOCK
A, CRAIN SUBDIVISION, GRASSEY KEY, MONROE
COUNTY, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida, desires to renounce and disclaim any right of the County
and the public in and to the hereinafter described streets,
alley-ways, roads or highways, and
WHEREAS, under Chapter 336, Florida Statutes, it is neces-
sary to hold a public hearing after publishing due notice of said
hearing in accordance with said Chapter, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that at 9: 00 A.M., on Wednesday, March
23, 1994, at the Marathon Government Center, 2798 Overseas
Highway, Gulf, MM 47.5, Marathon, Monroe County, Florida, said
Board will hold a public hearing to determine whether or not the
Board will renounce and disclaim any right of the County and the
public in and to the streets, alley-ways, roads or highways as
described as follows:
A portion of the alley in Block A, Crain Subdivision,
Grassey Key, Florida, more particularly described as:
Commencing at the northwest corner of Lot 7, Block A
(POB); thence 120 feet in a southeasterly direction to
the southeast corner of Lot 6, Block A; thence 10 feet
in a southwesterly direction to the northeast corner of
Lot 9, Block A; thence 120 feet in a northwesterly
direction to the northwest corner of Lot 8, Block A;
thence 10 feet in a northeasterly direction to the
point of beginning.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY SAID BOARD that the Clerk of said
Board be, and he is hereby authorized to publish notice of said
meeting in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 336, Florida
Statutes.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of the Board held on

Notice is hereby given that the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Monroe County, Florida, will hold a p\lblic hearing on
Wednesday, March 23, 1994, at 10:00 A.M. at the Marathon
Government Center, 2798 Overseas Highway, Marathon, Monroe
County, Florida, for the purpose of determining whether or not
the following alley shall be abandoned:
A portion of the alley in Block A, Crain Subdivision,
Grassey Key, Florida, more particularly described as:
Commencing at the northwest corner of Lot 7, Block A

the southeast corner of Lot 6, Block A; thence 10 feet

Pursuant to Section 286.0105, Florida Statutes, notice is
given that if a person decided to appeal any decision made by the
Board with respect to any matter considered at such hearings or
meetings, he will need a record of the proceedings, and that, for
such purpose, he may need to enS\lre that a verbatim record of the
proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and
evidence upon which the appeal is to be based.
