RESOLUTION NO. 072 -1989
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMIS-
SIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR/CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD TO EXECUTE AN
AGREEMENT TO EXTEND LEASE BETWEEN THE FLORIDA
KEYS AQUEDUCT AUTHORITY AND MONROE COUNTY,
FLORIDA, CONCERNING PARKING SPACE AT JACKSON
SQUARE, KEY WEST, FLORIDA.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Mayor/Chairman of the Board is
hereby authorized to execute an Agreement to Extend Lease between
the Florida Keys Aqueduct Authority and Monroe County, Florida, a
copy of same being attached hereto and made a part hereof,
concerning parking space at Jackson Square, Key West, Florida.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held

AGREEMENT TO EXTEND LEASE
This Agreement entered into this
day of
1989, by and between the Florida Keys
Aqu~duct Authority, hereinafter referred to as the Lessor, and
Monroe County, Florida, hereinafter referred to as the Lessee.
WIT N E SSE T H:
WHEREAS, the parties hereto did enter into a Lease dated the
1st day of November, 1981; and
WHEREAS, said Lease provided an option to renew said Lease
for two (2) year periods; and
WHEREAS, the Lessee desires to exercise the option to renew
said Lease; now, therefore,
IN CONSIDERATION of the mutual covenants, promises and
premises herein contained, the parties agree as follows:
1. That the Lease between Lessor and Lessee for parking
space, dated November 1, 1985, is hereby extended for an addi-
tional two (2) year period.
2. That the aforesaid extension is in accordance with the
terms of said Lease.
All other terms and conditions of said Lease shall remain in
full force and effect including the rental.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties hereto have executed this
instrument for the purposes herein expressed, the day and year
above written.
