A RESOLUTION BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA,
PROVIDING THAT CERTAIN NAMED CODE
ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS ARE VESTED WITH THE
POWER TO ISSUE CITATIONS AND NOTICES
TO APPEAR IN COUNTY COURT FOR VIOLATIONS
IF THE MONROE COUNTY CODE.

WHEREAS, House Bill No. 3557, Chapter 76-435, Laws of
Florida, authorizes County Building and Zoning Enforcement
Officials to issue citations for violations of County ordinances;
and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 030-1988, an Ordinance of Monroe
County, Florida, authorizes Monroe County Code Enforcement
Officers, under the direction of the Code Enforcement Adminis-
trator, to be enforcement officers for the purpose of enforcing
the provisions of the Monroe County Code pursuant to Chapter
76-435, Laws of Florida; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that William Wagner III, Deputy Fire
Marshall, is hereby authorized as a Certified Fire Inspector to
issue citations for violations of any Monroe County Ordinance
subject to the provisions of Ordinance No. 030-1988, an ordinance
of Monroe County, Florida.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on this 71.~
