RESOLUTION NO. 078-1989
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY,
FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR/CHAIRMAN
OF THE BOARD TO EXECUTE A LEASE
AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN MONROE COUNTY,
FLORIDA, AND THE DOMESTIC ABUSE PROGRAM
CONCERNING OFFICE SPACE FOR SAID
PROGRAM AT THE PLANTATION KEY
GOVERNMENT CENTER.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
That the Mayor/Chairman of the Board is hereby authorized
to execute a lease agreement by and between Monroe County,
Florida and the Domestic Abuse Program, a copy of same being
attached hereto and made a part hereof, concerning office space
for said Program at the Plantation Key Government Center.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held

LEASE
AGREEMENT
This indenture made and entered into as of the ____ day of
, A.D. 1989, between MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, a
political subdivision of the State of Florida hereinafter
referred to as "Lessor" and THE DOMESTIC ABUSE PROGRAM
hereinafter referred to as "Lessee".
WIT N E SSE T H:
1. Lessor hereto in consideration of the needs and objec-
tives of The Domestic Abuse Program agrees to provide office
space at the Plantation Key Government Center in Monroe County,
Florida, to the Domestic Abuse Program.
2. Said office space shall be 20.8 feet by 12.0 feet.
Lessee will have a private entrance as well as private bathroom
facilities.
3. Lessee shall not be required to pay rent, Lessee will
assume the cost of its telephone system.
4. This lease shall be for one year commencing on the date
of execution by both parties. Said lease can be renewed after
one year if both parties mutually agree to such a renewal.
S. Lessee agrees to be liable for and shall indemnify,
defend, and hold the lessor harmless from all claims, suits,
judgments, or, damages, including court costs and attorneys'
fees, arising out of the negligence or intentional acts of lessee
and or its employees/agents that arise as a result of the lessor
leasing office space to the lessee.
6. Lessor shall have the right to terminate this lease by
giving the Lessee sixty (60) days written notice that the lease
will be terminated by the Lessor.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this
lease to be executed by their undersigned representatives.
