L.L..
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
Section 1. That Section 236.081 (4) (b), F. S. be amended so
that the district required local effort in any year be limited to
an amount not to exceed sixty percent of the district's total
computed costs of the FEFP.
Section 2. That Section 236.081(1)(F), F.S. be amended to
permit a school board to adopt a resolution to reduce the legal
discretionary millage tax rate downward to equal in dollars the
computed amount of the wealth adjustment. Therefore, the State
should allocate to the district the full computed amount of the
sparsity supplement, but the local taxes would be reduced by an
amount equal to what would have been the wealth adjustment.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the 7th day of February, A.D. 1989.
