RESOLUTION NO. 078-1986
A RESOLUTION REAFFIRMING THE INTENT OF THE
COUNTY CO~mISSION IN CONTINUING THE MORATORI-
UM CREATED BY ORDINANCE NO. 033-1985.
WHEREAS, the Land Use Plan and the Land Use Map have been
approved by the Monroe County Commission as of the 28th day of
February, 1986, and
WHEREAS,
the provisions of Section 8 of Ordinance
No. 033-1985 provides for the termination date of said Ordinance,
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that in accordance with Section 8 of
Ordinance 033-1985, it is and was the intent of the County
Commission, as shown in said Section, that termination of the
existing moratorium created by that document is not to take place
until such time as there has been an effective Land Use Plan and
Map adopted, put in place and functional, as required by Florida
Statute 380, regulating and controlling all land uses in Monroe
County and supported by all required implementation.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
