Resolution 241-1986 RESOLUTION NO. 241-1986 A RESOLUTION PROVIDING THAT BARRIERS AND HAZARD AREA WARNING SIGNS ARE TO REMAIN IN PLACE ON BOCA CHICA ROAD THAT IS SITUATED IN MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, has the responsibility to maintain and provide safety features for Boca Chica Road, that is situate in Monroe County, Florida; WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, has made a determination that the public safety will be enhanced by leaving barriers and hazard area warning signs in place as they are now erected; now, therefore BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA: 1. All barriers and hazard area warning signs on Boca Chica Road shall remain in place. 2. Such barriers and warning signs shall only be changed by order of the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida. NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN that the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, will hold a public hearing on Friday, August 8, 1986, at 3:00 P.M. in Courtroom "B", 500 Whitehead Street, Key West, Monroe County, Florida, concerning the closing of State Road 4A(39A), a part of Old Boca Chica Road.
