Resolution 270-1987 U.S. Home Corporation RESOLUTION NO. 270-1987 WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, desires to renounce and disclaim any right of the County and the public in and to the hereinafter described streets, alley-ways, roads or highways, and WHEREAS, due notice has been published and a public hearing has been held in accordance with Chapter 336, Florida Statutes, and WHEREAS, at said public hearing no objections were made to the renouncing and disclaiming of any right of the County and the public in and to the hereinafter described streets, alley-ways, roads or highways as delineated on the hereinafter described map or plat, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that said Board hereby renounces and disclaims any right of the County and the public in and to the following described streets, alley-ways, roads or highways as delineated on the hereinafter described map or plat, to-wit: That portion of Tavernier Street, Johnson Drive and First Street located within and adjacent to the following described property: Situated in County of Monroe, State of Florida, known as being parts of Lots 1, 2 and 3 in plat showing subdivision of property belonging to Absalom Albury, et al., surveyed and platted by George McDonald, Surveyor, recorded in Plat Book 1 at Page 64; part of "Tavernier Villas", recorded in Plat Book 1, at Page 92; part of the "Revised Plat of Part of Tavernier Villas and Plat of Survey of Burton Properties", recorded in Plat Book 2 at Page 89; part of "Burton's Yacht Basin", recorded in Plat Book 2 at Page 119 and the "Amended Plat of Portion of Burton's Yacht Basin", recorded in Plat Book 3 at Page 98; together forming a parcel of land bounded and described as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the center of Burton Drive, as shown in Plat Book 2, at Page 89 of the Public Records of Monroe County, Florida, with the west line of Tavernier Villas as recorded in Plat Book 1 at Page 92, also as shown on said Plat Book 2 at Page 89, and run south 22040'23" east, a distance of 1467 feet more or less to the shoreline of the Atlantic Ocean; thence meander said shoreline in a northeasterly Plat Book 1, Page 64, excepting there- from the right-of-way of Burton Drive.
