RESOLUTION NO. 276 -1987
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMIS-
SIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA,
AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD TO
EXECUTE AN ADDENDUM TO LEASE BY AND BETWEEN
THE COUNTY OF MONROE AND DONALD J. VECCHIE,
CONCERNING A HANGAR AT THE KEY WEST
INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
That said Board hereby authorizes the Chairman of the Board
to execute an Addendum to Lease by and between the County of
Monroe and Donald J. Vecchie, a copy of same being attached
hereto, concerning a hangar at the Key West International
Airport.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held

ADDENDUM TO LEASE
This addendum, entered into this
day of
1987, adds Paragraphs 8 and 9 to that certain Lease entered into
on the 19th day of October, 1984, by and between the COUNTY OF
MONROE, a political subdivision of the State of Florida,
hereinafter referred to as Lessor, and DONALD J. VECCHIE,
hereinafter referred to as the Lessees. Said Paragraphs 8 and 9
are an addendum to said Lease and shall read as follows:
8. - "EXTENSION OF LEASE"
Said Lease between Lessor and Lessee shall be extended for
an additional Five-year period. The additional Five-year exten-
sion is to commence on October 19, 1989.
9. - "OPTIONS FOR EXTENSION OF LEASE"
Lessee shall have the option to renew said Lease after the
first Five-year extension, which terminates on October 18, 1994,
for two additional five (5) year periods. The base rental fee
will be adjusted annually in accordance with the official U.S.
Government Consumer Price Index (CPI) and applied annually on the
anniversary date of this lease.
Increases in the Lease during
the first Five-year option period shall be extended into
succeeding option periods.
All other provisions of said agreement are to remain in full
force and effect.
Any provisions in the original lease that are in conflict
with this addendum are hereby rescinded.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the Parties hereto have caused this
Addendum to Lease to be executed as of the day and year first
above written.
