RESOLUTION NO. 100 -1988
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF GOVERNORS OF
MUNICIPAL SERVICE TAXING DISTRICT NO. 2
EXTENDING THE TERMS OF A CONTRACT WITH
MARATHON H.M.A., INC. FOR AMBULANCE SERVICE
TO 5 NOVEMBER 1987.
WHEREAS, a contract existed between Municipal Service Taxing
District No.2. and Marathon H.M.A., Inc., doing business as
Fishermen's Hospital for the rendition of ambulance service
between Little Duck Key and Long Key Bridge (including Key Colony
Beach); and
WHEREAS, the contract expired on 30 September 1987; and
WHEREAS, Marathon H.M.A., Inc. continued to render services
in accordance with the terms of the contract until November 5,
1987, at the request of the Board and in anticipation of a
renewal of the said contract; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF GOVERNORS OF MUNICIPAL
SERVICE TAXING DISTRICT NO.2 that the contract of 17 March 1987
be extended until 5 November 1987 and Marathon H.M.A., Inc. be
compensated for services rendered in accordance with the contract
up to that date.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
