RESOLUTION NO. 377-1988
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOAm) OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING A GRANT FROM
THE FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OI~ STATE AND DIRECTING THE
EXECUTION OF SAME BY THE PROPER COUNTY
AUTHORITIES.
WHEREAS,
the Florida Department of State, Division of
Historical Resources, has awarded Monroe County a matching grant
in the amount of Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000), said grant to be

used for advanced architectural and engineering work for t~e

restoration of the West Martello Tower, now,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMI SSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the said grant is
hereby accepted and that the County Administrator is hereby
directed to execute the necessary documents in furtherance
thereof.

PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the 16th
day of August, A.D. 1988.
