RESOLUTION NO. 386 -1988
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMIS-
SIONERS, ADOPTING A COMPREHENSIVE EMERGENCY
MANAGEMENT PLAN FOR MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the Division of Emergency Management of the State
of Florida requires, as a condition of funding county operations
that the County have adopted certain Civil Defense plans as a
condition of there; and
WHEREAS, Monroe County desires to be in full conformity with
these mandates; now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA that:
Section 1.
The Board of County Commissioners do hereby
adopt the Monroe County Peacetime Emergency Plan, the Monroe
County Hurricane Emergency Plan, the Monroe County Radiological
Emergency Preparedness Plan, and the Monroe County Nuclear Civil
Protection Plan, collectively known as the Monroe County Compre-
hensive Emergency Management Plan.
Section 2.
It is further resolved that a copy of this
Resolution be certified to the Division of Emergency Management
as evidence of Monroe County's compliance with their 'require-
ments.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
