RESOLUTION NO. 460 -1988
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMIS-
SIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZ-
ING THE MAYOR/CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD TO
EXECUTE A GRANT APPLICATION FOR STATE AID TO
LIBRARIES FOR FY 1989 BETWEEN FLORIDA
DEPARTMENT OF STATE, DIVISION OF LIBRARY AND
INFORMATION SERVICES AND MONROE COUNTY,
FLORIDA.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Mayor/Chairman of the Board is
hereby authorized to execute a grant application for state aid to
libraries for FY 1989 between Florida Department of State,
Division of Library and Information Services and Monroe County,
Florida, a copy of said grant application being attached hereto
and made a part hereof.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the 20th day of September, A.D. 1988.

Department of State for an operating grant for public library service as authorized under
Chapter 257, Florida Statutes, for the fiscal year beginning October 1, 1988 and ending
September 30, 1989.

The Applicant agrees to expend any grant awarded pursuant to this Application in
full compliance with the terms and conditions of Chapter 257, Florida Statutes, and
Chapter lB-2, Florida Administrative Code, relating to county free public libraries and
the State Library, which Chapters are incorporated by reference as part of this
Application and attached hereto.
