'-.:::r , ; increase. in taxes ; and :>- o ... c zWHEiEA:i, the proceeds of said bonds will be used for the L...: Z EPur~se ~f ~ying right-of-way for transportation projects; and WHEREAS, bonds will also be used for construction and repair of Florida's bridges; and WHEREAS, it has been estimated by financial consultants that the sale of said bonds by the Department of Transportation will save the taxpayers of the State of Florida approximately $70 million dollars; and WHEREAS. the Monroe County Board of County Commissioners deems it in the best interest to the State of Florida to encour- age the passage of State Constitutional Amendment #4, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that Monroe County supports the passage of Amendment #4 on the November 8, 1988 ballot and recommends to the voters of Monroe County and the State of Florida to join with the Board of County Commissioners in supporting the passage of State Constitutional Amendment 14. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held on the 1st day of November, A.D. 1988.
