RESOLUTION NO. 578 -1988
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMIS-
SIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZ-
ING THE MAYOR/CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD TO
EXECUTE AN ADDENDUM TO AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE COUNTY OF MONROE AND KEYS AIR, INC.,
CONCERNING LEASEHOLD PROPERTY AT THE MARATHON
AIRPORT.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Mayor/Chairman of the Board is
hereby authorized to execute an Addendum to Agreement between the
County of Monroe and Keys Air, Inc., a copy of same being
attached hereto, concerning leasehold property at the Marathon
Airport.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the 1st day of November, A.D. 1988.

ADDENDUM TO AGREEMENT
THIS ADDENDUM TO AGREEMENT is made and entered into on the
1st day of November, 1988, by and between the COUNTY OF MONROE, a
political subdivision of the State of Florida, hereinafter
referred to as "Lessor" and Keys Air, Inc. , a Florida
Corporation, hereinafter referred to as "Lessee"
WITNESSETH:
The Airport Agreement entered into by and between the
parties dated August 18, 1987, and the Addendum to Agreement
dated April 5, 1988, is hereby amended as follows:
ADDENDUM TO ARTICLE I
A. Section B of ARTICLE I - PREMISES is hereby amended to
include Sections 3 and 4 to read as follows:
3. 14,250 square feet of paved ramp area for parking of
aircraft owned or operated by Lessee. The leasehold area is
delineated on the attached "Exhibit A."
4. 6,250 square feet of unpaved ramp area for automobile
parking, attendants, shelters and loading and unloading of pas-
sengers for sightseeing flights. The leasehold area is delineat-
ed on the attached "Exhibit A."
AMENDMENT TO ARTICLE III
A. Section A of ARTICLE III - RENTALS AND FEES is hereby
amended by amending Section 4 and by including a new Section 5
and 6 as follows:
4. Landing fees at the rate of $.47 per 1,000 pounds of
approved maximum gross landing weight. A minimum landing fee of
$5.88 will be charged for all aircraft weighing less than 12,500
pounds gross landing weight.
5. 14,250 square feet of paved ramp area at $.291 per
square foot per annum.
6. 6,250 square feet of unpaved ramp area at $.291 per
square foot per annum.
TERM
This Addendum to Agreement and all rights herein granted
Lessee shall become operative and effective on the 1st day of
November t 198~, and terminate on September 30, 1989, unless
sooner terminated as provided in the original lease.
Lessee agrees that prior to the effective date of this
Addendum that he will bring the leasehold premises into full
conformity with all requirements of the Monroe County Code.
TERMINATION
This Addendum to Agreement may be cancelled by Lessor upon
thirty (30) days prior written notice in the event the land area
herein described is required to facilitate new construction or
other improvements in the area.
In all other respects, the Airport Agreement between the
parties dated August 18, 1987, remains in full force and effect.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties have caused this Addendum to
Agreement to be executed as of the day and year first written
above.
