~~EM FOR SALE AT COST TO THE PUBLIC.

WHEREAS, persons doing business in Monroe County are
required by Section 9.5-351 of the Land Development Regulations
to provide parking spaces for handicapped persons, and
WHEREAS, each handicapped parking space is required to be
posted with a permanent sign of color and design approved by the
Florida Department of Transportation and bearing the internation-
ally accepted wheelchair symbol and the caption "Parking by
disabled permit only", and
WHEREAS, the County desires to perform a service to the
handicapped, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Board hereby authorizes the
Public Works Department to obtain such handicapped parking signs
and to offer them for sale at cost to the public.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the b:tL- day of J)ec....be,r , 1988.
