RESOLUTION NO. 695-1988
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMIS-
SIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, REQUESTING
ALL FEDERAL AND STATE AGENCIES WHO HOLD TITLE
TO SURPLUS PROPERTY IN MONROE COUNTY TO
CONVEY SAID PROPERTY TO THE COUNTY FOR
POTENTIAL USE FOR JAIL FACILITIES, PARK AND
LANDFILL SITES.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida, is in need of real property in Monroe County for
use for jail facilities, park and landfill sites, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida, desires to request all Federal and State Agencies who
hold title to surplus property in Monroe County to convey said
property to the County for potential use for jail facilities,
park and landfill sites, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Board hereby requests all
Federal and State Agencies who hold title to surplus property in
Monroe County to convey said property to the County for potential
use for jail facilities, park and landfill sites.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the 20th day of December, A.D. 1988.
