RESOLUTION NO. 304 -1986
A RESOLUTION NAMING THE NEW PLANTATION KEY
GOVERNMENT OFFICE BUILDING AFTER JERRY ELLIS.
WHEREAS, Jerry Ellis passed from this life recently, and
WHEREAS, Jerry Ellis had been a prime mover and very instru-
mental in the movement in Monroe County to preserve its natural
beauty, and
WHEREAS, the citizens of Monroe County should remember him
for these accomplishments, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
That the new Plantation Key County Office Building is hereby
named, "The Jerry Ellis County Government Building."
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the 3rd day of October, A.D. 1986.
