RESOLUTION NO. 384-1986
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COM~lIS-
SIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CHAIRMAN OF SAID BOARD TO EXECUTE
AN INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN MONROE
COUNTY AND KEY COLONY BEACH FOR THE PURPOSE OF
INTEGRATING KEY COLONY BEACH INTO THE COUNTY'S
PEACETIME EMERGENCY PLAN.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that said Board hereby authorizes the
Mayor and Chairman of the Board to execute an Interlocal
Agreement by and between Monroe County and Key Colony Beach, a
copy of same being attached hereto and made a part hereof, for
the purpose of integrating Key Colony Beach into the County's
Peacetime Emergency Plan.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the ~day of~, A.D. 1986.

INTERLOCAL AGREEMENT
Pursuant to the authority granted by Chapter 252, Laws of
Florida, and Florida Statute 163.01, Monroe County, a political
subdivision of the State of Florida, hereinafter called County,
and Key Colony Beach, a municipal corporation, hereinafter called
City, hereby covenant and agree as follows:
1. The County shall integrate the City into the County's
Peacetime Emergency Plan in regard to hurricane preparedness,
response, recovery, and mitigation.
2. The City shall cooperate with the County in achieving
the integration described above and, when necessary for the
purpose of integration, shall incorporate appropriate policy
changes into its Comprehensive Land Use Plan or City Code of
ordinances.
This Agreement shall take effect when executed by the
parties described above and a copy hereof is filed with the Clerk
of the Circuit Court of Monroe County, Florida.
