Resolution 203-1985 Charles P. Aguero, Manager Municipal Service District RESOLUTION NO. 203 -1985 A RESOLUTION REQUIRING THE PAYMENT OF DUMPING FEES FOR DUMPING AT ALL LANDFILL SITES OPERATED BY MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA; SAID FEES ARE TO BE $20.00 PER TON WITH A MINIMUM FEE OF $3.00, REGARDLESS OF WEIGHT; AND THE PAYMENT OF THE AFOREMENTIONED DUMPING FEES IS TO BE EFFECTIVE AS OF AUGUST 1, 1985. WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, has determined that there is a need to establish dumping fees for the use of all landfill sites operated by the Municipal Service District in Monroe County, and WHEREAS, the dumping fee to be charged at County landfill sites shall be as follows: $20.00 per ton with a minimum fee of $3.00, regardless of weight; these fees are to be paid at the landfill site prior to any dumping, and WHEREAS, all persons are required to pay the aforementioned fees to dump at County landfill sites, there being no exemptions therefrom, and WHEREAS, beginning August 1, 1985, all dumping fees will be charged in accordance with this resolution, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that: 1. Monroe County, Florida, will require dumping fees for use of its landfill sites. 2. All persons that dump at County landfill sites will have to pay the following dumping fees: $20.00 per ton with a minimum fee of $3.00, regardless of weight. 3. Dumping fees are to be effective as of August 1, 1985. PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held on the 2nd day of July, A.D. 1985.
