RESOLUTION NO. 204 -1985
RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 140-1985
WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the Monroe County
Commission that by following the rigid requirements of Resolution
No. 140-1985 that calendars for hearings of the Monroe County
Zoning Board in the Plantation area would be so extensive that
the same would take an inordinate amount of time to hear in its
entirety, and
WHEREAS, it has been deemed by the Mayor and Commissioners
that a mutual but appropriate locality for the hearing of a large
number of Zoning Board matters in the Upper Keys can and should
be in Marathon, Florida, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
1. That Resolution No. 140-1985 be and the same is hereby
rescinded,
2. That the Zoning Board be requested to utilize the
Marathon Subcourthouse or any other appropriate building within
Marathon as a site to be used by the Zoning Board for zoning
hearings in the Upper and Middle Keys so as to reduce the size of
the Zoning Board calendar in Plantation Key and to more equalize
the Zoning Board hearing calendars.
3. That the Clerk is hereby instructed to forward a
certified copy of this resolution to the Monroe County Building,
Planning & Zoning Department and the Monroe County Zoning Board.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the 2nd day of July, A.D, 1985,
