Resolution 209-1985 RESOLUTION NO. 209 -1985 A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMIS- SIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA ALLOWING PYRAMIDING IN RU-4 ZONING DISTRICTS. WHEREAS, The Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida is authorized to establish zoning regulations for the unincorporated areas of Monroe County pursuant to Section 125.01Ch) of the Florida Statutes, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, hereby recognize the need to alleviate hardships in- curred by not allowing pyramiding in RU-4 Zoning Districts, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA that pyramiding shall be allowed in RU-4 Zoning Districts. The following uses shall be permitted in RU-4 Zoning Districts: 1. Townhouses and cluster houses, attached and detached. 2. Upon substandard lots of record as defined in Chapter 19, or upon parcels of less than 2 acres of land, any residential use permitted in RU-1 or RU-2 Zoning Districts; provided, howev- er, that the building and setback requirements of Section 19-194 and 19-196 shall then become applicable for RU-l and RU-2 uses, respectively, in this district, and further provided that the entirety of such substandard lots of record or parcels of less than 2 acres shall be considered to be only one lot and only one principal residential structure. The customary accessory uses, shall be permitted thereon.
