RESOLUTION NO. 256-1985
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMIS-
SIONERS OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZ-
ING THE MAYOR AND CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD TO
APPROVE AND EXECUTE AN ADDENDUM TO LEASE
AGREEMENT BY AND BETWEEN MONROE COUNTY AND
THE STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH AND
REHABILITATIVE SERVICES CONCERNING HOLDING
FACILITY AREA SPACE AT THE OLD MONROE COUNTY
JAIL FACILITY.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, that the Mayor and Chairman of the Board
is hereby authorized to execute an Addendum to Lease Agreement by
and between Monroe County and the State of Florida Department of
Health and Rehabilitative Services, a copy of the same being
attached hereto, concerning holding facility area space at the
Old Monroe County Jail Facility.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a special meeting of said Board held
on the 6th day of September, A.D. 1985.

ADDENDUM TO LEASE AGRE~MENT
THIS ADDENDUM, entered into this .dd day o~M')
;' 1985, extends for one (1) year and corrects Section II entitled
"Rentals" of that certain Lease Agreement entered into on the
17th day of November, A.D. 1981, by and between Mon~oe County, a
political subdivi~ion of the State of Florida, hereinafter called
the Lessor and the State of Florida, Department of Health and
Rehabilitative Services, hereinafter called the Lessee.
Said
Section II of said Lease Agreement is hereby amended to read as
follows:
"II. RENTALS.
1. The Lessor hereby leases to the Lessee and the Lessee
hereby leases from the Lessor the above described premises for
the term set out in this lease and the Lessee agrees to pay ,to
the Lessor the sum of $1.00 per year payable upon the execution
of the lease for the first year and annually thereafter upon the
anniversary of this lease. Payment to be made to Clerk of the
Circui t Court, Monroe County Courthouse, 500 Whitehead Street,
Key West, Florida 33040.
2. The Lessee hereby agrees that should it become
necessary, the Lessor at its option, based on thirty (30) days
notice in writing given by Lessor to Lessee, may afford space in
a different location for the Lessee."
AIl other provisions of said Lease Agreement are to remain
in full force and effect.

IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have caused this
addendum to Lease Agreement to be executed as of the day and year
first above written.
