Resolution 265-1985 William J. Freeman County Commissioner RESOLUTION NO. 265 1985 A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE MONTH OF SEPTEMBER, 1985 AS "RECYCLING FOR ABUSED CHILDREN MONTH". WHEREAS, the Reynolds Aluminum Recycling Company is donating to the "Adam Walsh Foundation" one cent (Ie) per pound for all aluminum that is gathered and recycled , and WHEREAS, this very humane gesture by the Reynolds Aluminum Recycling Company should be supported by Monroe County and its citizens, and WHEREAS, various groups in the County have already lent their support to the same, now therefore, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND THE COUNTY COMMISSION OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows: 1. That the month of September be and the same shall be proclaimed as "Recycling for Abused Children Month", and 2. That all the citizens of Monroe County be called on to support this endeavor by the collecting of aluminum to be recy- cled, it being understood that one cent (Ie) per pound recycled will be contributed by the Reynolds Aluminum Recycling Company to the "Adam Walsh Foundation". Passed and adopted by the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board heid on the ~;AI~day of September, A.D. 1985.
