RESOLUTION NO. 340-1985
A RESOLUTION COMMENDING GRANT SPRADLING FOR
HIS WORK AND CONTRIBUTION TO THE MONROE
COUNTY FINE ARTS COUNCIL AND THE SOUTH
FLORIDA FINE ARTS CONSORTIUM.
WHEREAS, Grant Spradling has been the Executive Director of
the Monroe County Fine Arts Council and as such has worked hard
and long to improve the activities of said Fine Arts Council, and
WHEREAS, Grant Spradling has been very effective as Execu-
tive Director of the Monroe County Fine Arts Council and in that
capacity has established a fine reputation for the Fine Arts
Council. He has rendered distinguished efforts to increase the
reputation of the Council and his efforts have resulted in great
improvement in its impact on our County, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNTY COMMISSION OF MONROE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
1. That the efforts of Mr. Grant Spradling as Executive
Director of the Monroe County Fine Arts Council are hereby
commended as being very effective and exemplary, and that his
efforts on behalf of the aforesaid Council have improved the
Council's impact on the County's culture.
2. That the the work done by Mr. Spradling as Executive
Director concerning the activities within the South Florida Fine
Arts Consortium and other organizations that have been attracted
to the Monroe County Fine Arts Council is also of great value to
the County and so recognized.
3. That a certified copy of this resolution be sent to
Mr. Spradling by the Clerk of this Board with the heartfelt
thanks of the Monroe County Commission and its best wishes for
him in the future.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the 6t,h day of December, A. D. 1985.
