RESOLUTION NO. 079-1984
RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CHAIRMAN OF THE
BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF MONROE
COUNTY, FLORIDA, TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT BY
AND BETWEEN THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
OF MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, AND THE CITY OF
KEY COLONY BEACH, FLORIDA RE: PAVING OF THE
SADOWSKI CAUSEWAY AND EAST OCEAN DRIVE, KEY
COLONY BEACH, FLORIDA.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF
MONROE COUNTY, FLORIDA, as follows:
That the Mayor and Chairman of the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Monroe County, Florida, is hereby authorized to
execute an Agreement by and between the Board of County
Commissioners of Monroe County, Florida, and the City of Key
Colony Beach, Florida, a copy of same being attached hereto, in
re: paving of the Sadowski Causeway and East Ocean Drive, Key
Colony Beach, Florida.
PASSED AND ADOPTED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Monroe County, Florida, at a regular meeting of said Board held
on the ~1~c:1day of March, A.D. 1984.

AGREEMENT
This agreement made this 23rd
day of February
, 1984,
by and between the Board of County Commissioners of Monroe County,
Florida, hereinafter referred to as "County", and the City of Key
Colony Beach hereinafter referred to as "Key Colony Beach". ~'
and East Ocean Drive are
WHEREAS, the Key Colony Beach causeway/~& in need of paving
and other repairs; and
WHEREAS, both the County and Key Colony Beach will benefit

by ~mprovements done to the sa~d causeway;/now, ~nereIore, '

In consideration of the promises and of the mutual covenants
contained herein, the parties agree as follows:
1. The County will pay for the roadway pavement, said cost'
being estimated at Fifty-six Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($56,400).
2. Key Colony Beach will pay for the Bikeway pavement, said
cost being estimated at Fifteen Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars
($15.800).
3. Various construction between station 24 + 50 to station
36 + 50 on the causeway, at the intersection of West Ocean Drive
and the causeway and any drainage along East Ocean Drive will be
paid for by Key Colony Beach if they so elect.

A RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN
THE CITY OF KEY COLONY BEACH AND THE BOARD
OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS RE: PAVING OF THE
SADOWSKI CAUSEWAY AND EAST OCEAN DRIVE, KEY
COLONY BEACH, FLORDIA.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Commission of the City of
Key Colony Beach that the Mayor and the City Clerk
are authorized to execute an Agreement dated February
23, 1984, between the City of Key Colony Beach and
the Board of County Commissioners of Honroe County,
Florida, concerning the paving of Sadowski Causeway
and East Ocean Drive, Key Colony Beach, Florida, on
terms as set forth in the copy of said Agreement
which is attached hereto and made a part of this
Resolution hereto.
THIS RESOLUTION SHALL BE EFFECTIVE ON DATE OF PASSAGE,
